Salt Crystal TV

This sculpture is a tv screen that features the forming of salt crystals forming from cooling super-saturated salt water. This event, seen through a microscope built into the stand, took about 45 minutes to complete, the same duration of a short television show. Watching these crystals form was a great way to spend time with my colleagues.
